Stupid weather
In the Netherlands, the weather generally sucks. Apart from snow, I have seen every type of weather in july. Luckily, it has been quite good for the last two days now, but it still isn’t summer here, apparently.
On the other hand, if I was in Spain right now, I would melt, or so I’m told. For scientific reasons I will travel to Spain next week to see the melting for myself. I have booked the ticket already, and optimistically, I even booked a retour-flight.
At the moment, I’m trying to learn some Spanish. That could be useful during my stay.

Quite good
I’d enjoy some change in the weather here in Spain. It’s quite boring when you only see sun getting thru the windows. I enjoyed the thunderstorm we had last week, although it was pretty strong, I love the smell afterwards and it cleans the air.
About your learning, the right way to say that is:
“Me derrito. ¿Hay un congelador cerca?”
Nice try, anyway.
PS: I’ll freeze in Finland next February.
